Host an I Am American House Meeting
Thanks for signing up to host an I Am American House Meeting. At local gatherings—in living rooms, community centers, and other venues—we'll get together to talk about immigration reform. During our house meetings we'll get to know other MoveOn members, share our I Am American stories, and plan our next actions.
The house meetings will take place the weekend of March 23 and 24. When you sign up to host, be sure that your house meeting name and description reflect the campaign you want to work on. Sign up now to host, and we'll make sure you have everything you need so that you can take action.
One final suggestion: We recommend limiting the number of attendees to 30 people, so that you can have productive conversations and make strong plans for how to take next steps!

Host Ground Rules
We have tried to provide all the information you will need on our website (more information is available after you post your event). We will work hard to review all questions that are emailed to us and add answers to the Host Guide, so please check the guide to see if your question has been answered before you email us.
By creating an event, you are agreeing to serve as the host of the event. Your responsibilities as host include:
- Arranging that all the necessary materials are brought to the event (you can ask other participants for help).
- Contacting and communicating with the people who participate in your event. We will encourage attendees not to attend an event where the host has not confirmed their participation.
- Filing a quick post-meeting report.
I agree to the hosting ground rules for this event.
