Voter-Verified Paper Ballots

Voting systems that are easier to use don't have to be harder to trust. Every voting method should produce a paper ballot, so that voters can verify that their vote is recorded correctly and kept for counting and recounting. We believe:

"Every voter should be able to verify his or her vote on a paper ballot. Election officials must make sure electronic voting terminals produce Voter-Verified Paper Ballots, and they must provide backup paper ballots in case the terminals aren't working. "
