Voter-Verified Paper Ballots
Voting systems that are easier to use don't have to be harder to
trust. Every voting method should produce a paper ballot,
so that voters can verify that their vote is recorded correctly
and kept for counting and recounting. We believe:
"Every voter should be able to verify his or her vote on a paper
ballot. Election officials must make sure electronic voting terminals
produce Voter-Verified Paper Ballots, and they must provide backup
paper ballots in case the terminals aren't working.
Our votes are the foundation of our democracy. Act now to tell your
election officials that you want your confidence in our electoral
systems to be justified. We'll deliver your message to your members
of Congress, state election officials, and other political leaders.
